The L'Oscar

Masterfully blending the historical with the theatrical, the L’Oscar is an extravagant masterpiece of interior design. Seductive, out of the ordinary, sophisticated and contemporary in a rebelliously way, the hotel is one of the latest creations of no one less than French architect Jacques Garcia, a name associated with trendy and luxurious places such as the Hotel Costes, Hôtel Costes in Paris, La Mamounia in Marrakech and NYC's NoMad.

When it came to transforming the Baroque-style, former church into a hotel, Garcia conceived the LOscar with the belief that “a hotel is a theatre: a stage where performances of the utmost quality are played out and every detail is considered for the enjoyment of its guests.”

That certain French 'je ne sais quoi"

Imagination, attention to detail, and that certain French 'je ne sais quoi" are woven into the fabric of L'Oscar London, from the sumptuously-decorated bedrooms, the velvet and leather interiors, the glowing onyx bar and the crystal butterfly wing taps to the chandelier that funnels seven floors down through the original staircase.

The hotel offers two restaurants – both of which are housed in spectacular spaces. Café L'oscar serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner within its mirrored walls, which are also adorned with gilded panels and original art.

Set in the heart of historic Bloomsbury on London’s Southampton Row, within a few steps from the City, Theatreland, Soho, and the West End, the L'Oscar promises a mesmerizing city break experience that will stay with you well beyond your stay.
