An intimate boutique hotel housed in a Romanesque Revival building from 1890, The Mercer plays host to famous guests and elite travelers. You will find this gem at the corner of Mercer and Prince Streets in Soho, Manhattan, New York City, one of the buzziest and best locations, abounding with luxury boutiques, art galleries, and trendy restaurants.

Here you will feel at home the very minute you enter the lobby. Just grab a book from the bookshelves, take a seat, order a cappuccino or a drink and enjoy the local vibe.

Designed by the celebrated French interior designer and architect Christian Liaigre, known for his romantic, minimalist aesthetic style, the hotel features 74 guest rooms - courtyard rooms, studios, lofts, and suites - and emphasizes comfort and harmony.

Decorated in muted colors, all rooms feature high ceilings, large windows that let in plenty of natural light, a sitting area and marble bathrooms with an oversized bathtub and/or a walk-in shower. Wooden floors and leather paneling give simple elegance to the décor.

At the hotel

Library, CD/DVD library, in-room beauty/spa treatments, free access to a local fitness club, free WiFi, laundry service. In rooms: flatscreen TV, CD/DVD player, air-conditioning, minibar, iPod dock, free bottled water, Face Stockholm toiletries.

Dining at the Mercer Kitchen

The Mercer Kitchen by world-renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten is a destination for New Yorkers, celebrities, and hotel guests. It serves up delicious contemporary French cuisine with an Asian twist.

Reached by a staircase from the hotel, the restaurant features exposed brick walls, an open kitchen, banquettes, and candlelit sconces.  Mercer Kitchen was one of the first restaurants in New York City to have a communal table, which remains popular to this day.
